Job Role Related Content (Role specific)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to lead our critical Platform & Application Modernization program. This role is pivotal in driving the successful migration & modernization of Vodafone Business's external customers from on-premises to AWS, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced customer experience. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of this complex program, encompassing multiple technology areas and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute a comprehensive program roadmap, including detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Oversee the migration of the entire business environment from customer’s on-premises Data centre to AWS.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle.
Develop and implement effective change management strategies to minimize disruption to business operations.
Technical Leadership:
Possess a strong understanding of technology landscapes, including on-premises infrastructure and cloud technologies (AWS).
Collaborate with technical teams to define migration strategies, architecture, and standards.
Ensure alignment between technical requirements and business objectives.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
Effectively communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels.
Resolve conflicts and build consensus among stakeholders.
Project Management:
Utilize project management methodologies (PMP) and Agile frameworks to drive program execution.
Employ project management tools such as Jira and  MS Project to track progress, manage resources, and report on key metrics.
Ensure adherence to project governance processes and standards.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor project managers and team members.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Develop and implement performance management processes.


Required Skills and Experience:
10+ years of experience in program management with a minimum of 5 years in cloud migration program management.
Proven track record in managing large-scale, complex IT programs, in multi domain industry.
Good understanding of application modernization concepts, including migration strategies and cloud technologies (AWS).
Strong project management skills, including experience with PMP and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
PMP certification preferred.
Desired Skills:
Experience with ITIL frameworks.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Good Understanding of IAC and CI/CD tools.
