Key missions of the position:
▪Ensure that the QSE System is respected
▪Ensure that EHS targets are met
▪Ensure deployment of group SE strategy within the site.
▪Ensure Implementation of relevant clause requirements of WMS & IMS


Main responsibilities:
▪Ensure planning & monitoring of SE practices with involvement of Transit Field Services Regional managers, Country Field service leader & site leads.
▪Ensuring Periodic review of SE Risk Assessment (AIA, HIRA) with involvement of respective function representatives
▪Ensure monitoring of EHS Performance Indicators (LTA, RA, FA, NM, RFCs, Safety QRQC, Energy consumption, WEP / WMS SE Score etc.)
▪Ensure recording & monitoring of LTA, RA, FA, NM, RFCs through WIM SE / Online tool for CAPA with involvement of respective function using QRQC methodology.
▪Ensure Safety Training to Engineers & Site Leaders with Transit Field Services by visiting regularly sites across 2 regions in India and through LMS Convergence Safety Portal.
▪Ensure periodic EHS Review meeting with EHS Committee members.
▪Ensure adherence of Emergency Preparedness Simulation / mock drills.
▪Ensure smooth execution of SE Gemba Walk by Field Services leaders.
▪Lead Safety Hunt hazard partnering with Indian Railways , Metro and Wabtec Field services Regional Leaders.
▪Ensure that EHS legislation requirements are respected, adhered, compliant, monitored, updated & maintained.
▪Ensure periodic check & testing of Fire Extinguishers, Pressure Vessels, Lifting Equipment through internal follow up & with external agency.
▪Ensure Implementation of WEP / SE WMS Criteria involving EHS Committee members.
▪Review on regular basis improvement areas and risk reduction by implementing safety practices, trainings and identifying early “Near Miss”.

Candidate Profile
Education/Training
▪What education and education level are necessary for the position?
Bachler degree in Industrial Safety and master degree in EHS management is preferred.


Professional Experience
▪How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position? 15-20 years in EHS
