Key responsibilities
·Drive a successful profitable business for DP world from assigned priority sector delivering to the business objectives.
·Be the face of DP world for the client for any logistics solutions / services required by the sector.
·Spear head the activity to identify the supply chain needs of the sector and liaise with the solution architects to drive the solution development activity in that sector.
·Provide thought leadership in the specific sector and represent DP World in various industry forums.
·Effectively maintain market intelligence on the priority sector; monitor competition, stakeholder mapping, business trends impacting the business in the sector.
·Work with the account managers in the sector to guide and develop the long-term account plan (1 year to 3 year) within the sector.
·Support the focus account manager in managing senior executive level client relationship to create an effective brand positioning for DP world.
·Maintain a sector scorecard & drive y-o-y client improvement on all parameters.
·Create business case for investments in his sector specific solutions.
·Drive a culture of Customer Delight across the DP world team to ensure high customer satisfaction for the identified accounts.
·Develop internal capabilities to provide solutions to specific industry segment.
Skills and Competencies
· Proven supply chain track record in logistics industry with 15+ years of experience in India
·Managed significantly large portfolio size of the respective priority sector.
·Prefer key account experience including experience in developing and growing new key accounts of a particular sector.
·Relevant logistics expertise within identified sectors – Chemical.
·Experience in supply chain across entire logistics value chain including transportation, warehousing & Value-added services.
·Able to design and implement solutions pertaining to specific industry solving customer problems.
