Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SRE Sustain Lead to join our BI & Reporting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Power BI platform-based applications and services. This role provides reviews delivery plans, mitigates risk and ensures alignment for planned releases. Manages coordination, communications and relationships with the Devops team, solution architects, platform team, vendors. Ensures alignment to ensure consistent governance and Agile methodologies are followed, Responsibilities includes creating governance frameworks, managing service delivery, leading process improvements, and overseeing people management. Responsibilities Governance: Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance and best practices in Power BI service management. Monitor and enforce data security and privacy policies. Service Delivery: Ensure high availability and reliability of Power BI services. Oversee incident management and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless service to end-users. Operational & Technical Expertise: Effectively triage and resolve L1 and L2 issues, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery. Demonstrate the ability to implement minor enhancements swiftly, contributing to continuous improvement and operational efficiency. People Management: Lead and mentor a team of SREs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team capabilities. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and best practices. Utilize metrics and KPIs to measure and improve service performance. Delivery Management: Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion. Ensure alignment of service delivery with business goals and objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related role. Strong knowledge of Power BI and data visualization tools. Proven experience in governance, service delivery, and process improvement. Excellent leadership and people management skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
