Key Accountabilities


  •  Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to support conceptualization of products, produce concept papers and build business case and project plan
  •  Articulate delivery approach / framework to both business & IT/Digital stakeholders across UK, India and Singapore and at low/mid/senior levels, from concept phase through build and deployment to support phase, gain their confidence and concurrence
  •  Manage IT pre-requisites and proactively manage risks
  •  Monitor and communicate delivery progress to all stakeholders, take corrective action as required; garner stakeholder support through the appropriate channels to resolve blockers and issues
  •  Adhere to Rolls Royce project management, reporting and governance standards and ensure stakeholder approval / concurrence is secured in timely fashion
  •  Be the single point of contact for local operations and ensure the reporting are done as required at leadership, business and project levels
  •  Champion Lean Process and Design Thinking principles and practices across the enterprise fostering deeper understanding and adoption
  •  Operate simultaneously in waterfall, agile and DevOps methodologies as applied to different work streams in a programme
  •  Comfortable with demanding customer interaction and facilitating technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  •  Manage collaborative relationships with other functions in the business, partners, and the ecosystem to ensure a successful delivery
  •  Develop re-usable operational templates and ensure Digital solutions are created to showcase the operational data

Key skills and Technical Competencies


  •  Degree level education in Management, Science, Mathematics or Engineering or equivalent
  •  8 + years in a software delivery or management advisory role of which 3 + years managing end-to-end solution delivery for at least 2 large scale engagements in tightly regulated industry
  •  Managed delivery of multiple end to end solutions, from concept to deployment, for green field and brown field solutions in IT / Digital solution landscape using internal and external teams

Expert understanding of


  • a. Project management frameworks such as Prince2 / PMP / APMP and their application in IT / Digital solution delivery space
  • b. Business analysis / Design Thinking frameworks
  • c. Vendor / team management in IT / Digital solution delivery space
  • d. Agile methodologies

Experience of


  • a. leading teams at a mid/senior level as well as training and developing others
  • b. working in IT consulting or technology services environment
  • c. Cloud & on-premises infrastructure
  • d. ITIL or other support frameworks
  • e. identifying, mapping and implementing business transformation solutions by working closely with client organizations

Exposure to


  • a. Digital and analytics technologies
  • b. one or more of the Aviation, Marine, Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Defence Industries is desirable
  •  Understanding of operations and different aspects to run seamless day to day operations
  •  Lead from front and relish working on tight timelines ensuring no quality compromise
  •  Excellent communication skills and user empathising skills
