Delivery Head - Application development

Roles & Responsibilities:

Delivery Management:

• Oversee service delivery for the team and manage project/program execution.
• Handle production support and maintenance activities.
• Ensure stakeholder management and high customer satisfaction.
• Support Project and Delivery Managers in program delivery.
• Ensure team roles are clear and executed effectively.
• Manage costs and budgets, and report project status to stakeholders.
• Implement best practices to maximize team productivity.
• Manage change effectively.

Leadership

1. Lead proactively and set a strong example.
2. Guide employees to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals.
3. Inspire the team to achieve ambitious targets.
4. Leverage industry knowledge to enhance team services.
5. Develop and adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
6. Make and implement decisions at the team level as part of Middle Management.
7. Organize the team for efficiency and continuous improvement in collaborative processes.
8. Consider organizational values, employee skills, past contributions, and development opportunities when delegating tasks.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of project/program delivery in Waterfall/Agile methodologies
• 3+ years of core people management experience
• Managed technical teams of 15+ members
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (analysts, architects, engineers, QA)
• Proven vendor management skills
• Managed teams in a global onsite-offshore model
• Strong stakeholder management and client relationship-building
• ITIL knowledge preferred
