Role Description:
The Dealing Officer is responsible for order execution management of both mutual fund and ETIs orders as well as resolving any issues raised by clients across the FNZ platforms whilst and adhering to the key regulatory and process requirements of FNZ.
Role Responsibilities:
- Mutual fund order placement; Place mutual fund orders electronically or by manual entry, ensuring the external fund manager receives the order instruction prior to the valuation point or dealing deadline.
- ETIs order placement; direct engagement with brokers, client service team or tech support to ensure successful ETI execution.
- Mutual fund order monitoring; Monitor for any mutual fund orders that are rejected by the manager, ensuring that the orders are then placed timely electronically or by manual entry.
- ETIs order monitoring; Monitor for any ETI orders that are pending matching or failing, ensuring that the orders are then resolved timely and settle with the market electronically or by manual entry.
- Orders completion and settlement; To monitor the progress of orders and also the receipt of manual / electronic confirmations from brokers and mutual fund managers.
- Production Monitoring; Carry out daily control tasks to identify any orders which may require manual intervention and ensure that these are placed timely and accurately before the dealing deadline.
- Break investigation; Investigation mutual fund and ETI breaks to take actions to fix at the market or on the platform to make sure trading records are accurate and consistent.
- Effective communication; Investigate, manage and resolve any issues raised by clients relating to the placement of orders.
- Other tasks; to undertake any other projects/ tasks as may reasonably be required to facilitate the smooth operation of the company.

What we are looking for:
- Degree educated in a relevant subject
- Experience of delivering an excellent level of service to customers - e.g. in a retail or contact centre environment
- Experience in using Excel for data analysis
- Experience in using SQL
- Attention to details
- The ability to work accurately and to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of banking and Financial Services (desirable)
- Able to demonstrate understanding of FCA regulations (desirable)
