Introduction
As a Service Delivery Specialist, you are the face of IBM for our customers. Your clients’ success depends on your ability to understand their needs and respond to requests for new services. This role is an integral part of both account planning and delivering support strategies, working to proactively monitor problems, change processes, and handle issues to ensure our customers success.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As DC Engineer, you are responsible to manage day to day operations & maintenance of large physical infrastructure of Data Centre falling in the scope. Responsible for periodic preventive and corrective maintenance of the DC equipment’s and ensure technical support to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the service outages or disasters. You will need to visit the domestic client’s offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role

Your Role & Responsibilities:


  • Provide 24*7 support at client site and coordination with client to manage any DC related Issues.
  • Hand-On Experience in O&M of large physical infrastructure components of a large Data Centre.
  • Experience in operation and Maintenance of civil, electrical, HVAC, LAN, Safety and Security system components for a large-scale Data Centre.
  • Experience in Operation and Maintenance of DC integrated Building Management System.
  • Experience in Green DC physical infrastructure design, implementation and operation and maintenance.
  • SLA & Escalation management.
  • Ensuring periodic maintenance of systems.
  • Responsible for coordinating with vendor & Client team for any part replacement/movement.
  • Coordinating with vendor to Restore failure hardware part in bare minimal time with expertise and understand production setup criticality and Severity level of tickets.
  • Ensure compliance with data center standards, policies, and processes via the defined change control process.
  • Ready to work on 24×7 support for upgradation, Maintenance, Vendor management and coordination.
  • Coordinate with multiple domain owners for technical resolution.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise


  • Candidate should have good hands-On Experience in O&M of large physical infrastructure components of a large Tier-3/4 Data Centre.
  • He should have hands on experience on operation and Maintenance of civil, electrical, HVAC, LAN, Safety and Security system components.
  • Should be technically sound and have hands on experience in trouble shooting of Tier-3 Data Center Non-IT equipment’s relates issues.
  • Should have hands on experience in of Building Maintenance Systems and Physical Security Systems.
  • Experience in maintaining the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the information and to maintain its authenticity, control and utility of the relevant data
  • Working knowledge to support all the necessary procedures related to security approval, accreditation, certification, etc.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise


  • Must have 4 years of experience in managing the Tier-3 Data Centre Non-IT equipment’s.
  • He should have hands on experience in O&M of large physical infrastructure components of a large Data Centre.
  • Experience in maintaining the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the information and to maintain its authenticity, control and utility of the relevant data.
  • Experience in operation and Maintenance of civil, electrical, HVAC, LAN, Safety, Security system and DC Integrated Building Management System components for a large-scale Data Centre.
  • Working knowledge to support all the necessary procedures related to security approval, accreditation, certification, etc.
  • Experience in managing the periodic preventive & corrective maintenance of Tier-3 Data Centre Non-IT equipment’s.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
  • Languages: English, Hindi are preferred
  • Ready to work in 24* 7 Environment and flexible to work from client location
