DB2 DB Administrator

• Experience with Db2 and other tools maintenance processes to be able perform preventive maintenance, function level upgrade and version upgrade. 
• Expertise in administering DB2 databases on z/OS.
• Proven ability in database maintenance, including regular backups, housekeeping and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience in database recovery and executing DRP procedures.
• Experience in providing production support.
• Ability to effectively apply learned skills independently, even without Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Experience with the following DBA tools is a plus: BMC Apptune, BMC AMI Ops, BMC Log Master, IBM Cloning Tool, and IBM Change Manager.
• Experience in copying production data to lower environments.
• Essential knowledge of JCL, SQL, REXX, and ISPF.
