We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Datacenter Principal Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in datacenter engineering, with a strong focus on design, implementation, and management of high-performance datacenter environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of datacenter infrastructure systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs and performance objectives.
- Oversee the deployment and management of hardware and software in datacenter environments, optimizing for efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and enforce best practices for datacenter operations, including capacity planning, disaster recovery, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the datacenter remains competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in datacenter engineering or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of datacenter infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale datacenter projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, VMware, AWS) are a plus.
