• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle and Python Lead data engineer to play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines that transform raw data into valuable insights.
• You will be instrumental driving database specific work and data controls work

Your key responsibilities

• Able to write complex queries in Oracle 
• Able to do PLSQL development. 
• Able to review Oracle queries and PLSQL code written by others. 
• Provide technical guidance and support to application teams on the Oracle development 
• Collaborate with data experts, analysts, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions. 
• Automate data processing tasks using scripting languages like Python. 
• Guide junior team member and grads in Oracle and python work
• Take end to end responsibility of the data work.
• Learn and work in GCP
• Design end to end solution for Oracle and Python related work.
• Collaborate with business on the requirements.

Your skills and experience

• 12+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment. 
• Extensive experience with Oracle DB
• Development experience in PL/SQL. 
• Expert in Oracle queries and PLSQL development 
• Some understanding around Oracle performance tuning 
• Good understanding of Python language
• Strong understanding of data security and access control principles.
• Able to design solutions in Oracle and Python
• Good communication skills. 

Nice to Have

• Experience in high level python programming like pandas
• Java Development experience (Spring Boot). 
• Basic understanding of GCP Big query, buckets, cloud functions.

• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
