The Data Visualization Lead is a member of the Analytics Capabilities and Practices Team that will focus in building sophisticated analytical capabilities including data science, predictive modeling, dashboarding and data stewardship.As a part of Data Visualization team under Operations Performance Enablement, this role will work in partnership with partners and operations from different functions and will provide support for the delivery of data maintenance and dashboard development/reporting requirements.This team will be forward-looking in identifying analytics trends, emerging tools & practices to ensure we have teh skills and capabilities we need to support D&A Customer Operations now and in the future.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Interaction with clients and client facing teams to collect feedback and inturn feedback to better the data visualization.Experience writing sophisticated SQL queries and stored procedures and loading data into a variety of database systems. (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)  is expected.An understanding of data management methodologies and concepts.Developing and broadening your skills through mentoring and collaboration with experienced professionals. Comfort with large volumes of data and ability to handle data complexitypartners to ensure work is completed on time and according to service/quality standards.Translating end user needs to requirements (preferably using design thinking methodologies)Lead projects, removing obstacles and taking ownership to find creative solutionsHandle all level partner engagements to discover problems and use cases as well as to translate business impact of ongoing and completed projectsBecoming an authority at certain domains of knowledge and particular tools/techniques.  Uses multiple approaches to get un-stuck when research progress slows down.  Ensures that results are reproducible, correct and actionable.  Developing relationships with peers in analytics across the company.Build domain expertise in financial market content and in Refinitiv data and productsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLStrong leadership skills.Solid grasp of Tableau, a good-to-haveStrong Data Visualization skills – Tableau (optional), Power BI (preferred) etcSophisticated stakeholder management and project management skills.Strong written, communication and presentation skills.  Able to respond and present work to peers, answer in-depth questions, accept constructive feedback, and modify work accordingly.Technical skills and Relational database skillsAble to handle large quantities of data without drowning in itNarrate stories (to technical and mostly non-technical audience) about our content and processes by data analysis and visualization.Good sense of algorithm: can think rigorously, anticipate how to identify common problems such as missing data, able to build re-usable modules of code that can be understood by peers.DESIRED EXPERIENCE:At least 3 years of data visualization & at least 2 years of experience using Power BI.Excel (Required)SQL (Required) or any programming background (a plus)LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
