The Chief Data Office’s Data Frameworks team is responsible for defining the policy, procedure, processes, guidance, training and learning assets to enable the bank to manage its most important data and make it an asset. You will be using your creativity, organisation and communication capabilities to improve the bank’s data management framework and enable its adoption across the bank.

Your key responsibilities
- Build and run a program to equip people delivering the data management framework with the knowledge and skills to deliver their responsibilities
- Liaise with experts across data governance, data architecture and data quality to fully understand the data management capabilities (processes, tooling and skills) and ensure relevant role holders are equipped to deliver them
- Design and develop user-focused learning material to maximise adoption and effective use of the processes & tools to ensure compliance with the core data management standards
- Construct and maintain a library of knowledge and guidance documentation to enable relevant groups to deliver their data management accountabilities
- Build and run an operational approach to drive adoption of new and changed data management processes
- Develop and deliver approaches, formats and standards to maximise consistency and effectiveness of data frameworks documentation where it impacts data management delivery (e.g. data governance, data architecture, data tooling)
- Implement a continuous feedback and improvement cycle to ensure feedback is incorporated into processes
- Implement a communication plan to ensure all relevant stakeholders are kept informed about changes, updates, learning
- Act as a liaison point for data role holders across the bank, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to deliver their responsibilities
- Establish a set of objectives and KPIs to measure impact and adoption success
Your skills and experience
- 8-10 years of experience in Data Management/Data Governance domains
- Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to understand complex concepts and convey them to audiences at all levels (including senior leaders, technical SMEs and non-technical people)
- Positive attitude and self-starter, logical and analytical thinker
- Proven track record of business analysis and documentation no matter of industry/domain
- Experience in creating visual representations of data, systems flows, process workflows and any user facing artefacts
- Strong project management and a proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to identify synergies and inconsistencies
- Agile experienced and exposure to tools such as JIRA, Confluence is desirable
- Ability to learn fast on the job and be effective in a fast-moving environment
- Advanced or proficient level of Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint
