About the Role:


We are looking for a Data Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing the organisation’s data management practices, ensuring data quality, and lead data migration projects. This role involves working with various data sources, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, to manage data integration, data quality, and overall data governance. The Data Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, security, and availability, driving data-driven decision-making processes.


What you will do:


  • Manage and maintain data across various sources, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Lead data migration projects, ensuring seamless data transfer and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and implement data quality management processes to ensure high data standards.
  • Create and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and provide appropriate data solutions.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Monitor data quality and implement data cleansing processes as needed.
  • Design and develop data models to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data management best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management and analytics.

Experience:


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data migration, and data quality roles.
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other CRM systems.
  • Experience in leading data migration projects and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration process.
  • Strong background in data governance, data quality management, and data integration.
  • Demonstrated experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data visualisation techniques.
  • Experience in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Data Management, Data Science, or Business Analytics is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, or equivalent are advantageous.
