Data Scientist - GenAI

Job Title

Summary

As a Data Scientist, you will bring the technical expertise needed to turn data into actionable insights and drive the development of intelligent solutions leveraging generative AI. You will be responsible for developing tools and applications that utilize cutting-edge AI models based on user requirements and enhancing the current digital workplace services portfolio.

In this role you will:

• Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and implement machine learning and generative models to solve complex business problems.
• Create predictive and prescriptive models that positively impact business performance.
• Apply the latest GenAI models and Large Language Models (LLMs) for conversational and generative AI, such as GPT models or open-source alternatives.
• Design efficient prompts to interact with GenAI models using prompt engineering.
• Develop GenAI use cases requiring the enhancement of general-purpose LLMs (e.g., Retrieval-Augmented Generation - RAG).
• Work with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face Agent, and others.
• Work on cloud platforms using managed services like Azure ML Studio or AWS SageMaker.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively (e.g., PowerBI).
• Define performance indicators, analyse new models' results, and present them in an understandable way.

About the ideal candidate:

• Experience working with machine learning and generative AI models.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and machine learning frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in AI tools such as Azure ML Studio, AWS SageMaker, and GenAI frameworks like LangChain, Hugging Face Agent.
• Expertise in data visualization tools like PowerBI.
• Knowledge of GenAI models and large language models (LLMs) such as GPT.
• Solid experience in extracting and analysing data using advanced techniques.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data-driven insights to different audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
