Role Description:
Developing algorithms to make the Decision Engines, especially focusing on Route Optimisation, faster, smarter and scalable.
Translating your ideas into code and watch the real world impact in near real time
Writing production level code and reviewing the Python codebase.
Communicating with sales and client-facing teams to understand how the solution is behaving on the ground.
Analysing the output to understand how and where it can be improved
Benchmarking against both human solutions and published datasets.
Reviewing current literature on routing and optimisation and finding applications for relevant use- cases
Converting fuzzy product/ business requirements into concrete problem statements

Qualifications:
Are Masters and above in a STEM field or Bachelors with 2+ years of work experience
Can write Python code in an efficient and idiomatic manner, including Numpy
Have the ability to work in a collaborative environment
Possess critical and creative thinking
Armed with:
Software engineering experience with large codebases (more than 10k LoC), including personal projects is a big plus
Experience with other languages such as C/C++ is a definite plus
Experience in logistics and supply chain industries is a big plus
