Job Description:
This is an outstanding opportunity to join our world-class team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. We are looking for a motivated Data Quality Analyst. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will have an important role in ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data quality assessments and validations to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Implement data quality scorecards.
- Monitor and provide updates on metrics related to data quality.
- Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and team members to identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues.
- Apply Experian Aperture Data Studio to improve data quality and support business needs.
- Maintain documentation of data quality processes and improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to support data quality initiatives and projects.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on standard methodologies for data quality.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Experian Aperture Data Studio or other data quality systems.
- Good understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Understanding of data management principles and standard methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability in data quality analysis or a related role.
- Certification in data quality or data management (preferred but not required).
