Job Description

Join our dynamic team at JPMorgan Chase and drive impactful data governance solutions that support our global data strategy and commercial goals.


As a Data Management Lead within the Chief Data and Analytics Office team, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to define governance, guidance, risk metrics, and tooling requirements in support of the Data Storage Program and overall Data Governance framework. You will also be responsible for delivering on project milestones, tracking program adoption, and producing ongoing senior management reporting and metrics.


Job Responsibilities


  • Gain understanding of Data Storage Risk, including data localization and data resiliency regulatory requirements, and work with location groups to define requirements, scope, and compliance parameters.
  • Support end-to-end Program Management.
  • Develop automation design and partner with relevant groups for implementation.
  • Manage and resolve post-production issues.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Technology Product & Control groups, Line of Business, and corporate functional chief data office teams.
  • Develop and deliver training to relevant groups on Data Storage requirements.
  • Perform monthly control procedure assessments.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in technology, operations, financial services, or similar fields.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of data risks, business or technology controls, resiliency, and identity and access management domains.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders of varying seniority levels.
  • Effective change management skills and adaptability in a changing environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, multitask efficiently, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Lateral thinking with the ability to articulate clearly across diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


  • Familiarity with developing or maintaining risk, program, or operational metrics.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, visualization, or workflow automation tools.
  • Familiarity with information asset resiliency definitions and product strategies.
