Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement DLP controls, policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
Monitor and analyze data flow to identify potential data loss risks.
Configure and manage DLP tools and technologies.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate DLP solutions with existing security infrastructure.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Provide training and support to employees on data protection best practices.
Investigate and respond to data loss incidents and breaches.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data protection and cybersecurity.
Requirements – Skills, Experience and Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of DLP technologies and tools (e.g., Symantec, McAfee, Forcepoint).
10 -14 years of work experience in IT Industry
Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in Information Protection/ Security, Data/ Cloud Security area
Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in Cloud Security Technologies
Familiar with information security industry standards, trends and emerging technologies
Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Design and implementation experience on Proxy, DLP, DRM, IRM solutions
Design and implementation experience on UEBA/SIEM & CASB solutions
Design and implementation experience on Database security solutions
Knowledge on Cloud solutions - O365, Azure & AWS
Knowledge in scripting and automation using PowerShell/Perl/Python
Ability to create As-Is / To-Be Process Flows. Identify changes to workflow / impact to workforce.
Document 'Solution Design Document', including process flows, business & technical requirements, and exception handling rules
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
