Data Concerns Management BA PM - SVP
Citibank is looking for an experienced Business Analyst & Project Manager to support implementing and operationalizing effective Data Quality Management within the Banking & International (B&I) Data organization. The rolewill be responsible forthe Data Concern Remediation Management. This role oversees a team focused to deliver reduction in Data Quality risk within Banking & International. This role will work alongside metrics and tooling teams to monitor and certify authoritative data sources to remediate data concerns.Given the high level of regulatory interest, this role may involve involves significant senior management interaction and regulatory meetings preparation, requiring individuals with good written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Help in categorizing, identification, logging (where required) of data concerns impacting Banking and International Data stakeholders
Conduct root cause analysis, prioritize issues impacting B&I Data stakeholders, develop solution design, remediation plan, and implement effective tactical and strategic solutions
Build executive level updates on data concerns through quantifiable metrics which are used in senior management and external stakeholder meetings. Oversee data concerns metrics reporting process from strategic data repositories
Partner with other department teams (e.g. technology, finance, risk or business units) regarding status of project and to drive the execution of requirements, training, and ensuring compliance with Citi Data Governance Policy and standards
Address potential barriers to timely execution before they impact the delivery, communicate potential risks and plans to mitigate issues and concerns
Partner with assurance functions (2nd and 3rd line of defense teams) to objectively assess the data program with ownership to address resulting action plans
Manage a team of VPs and AVPs to drive functional mandate on reduction in data concerns for B&I Data.
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience (including 10+ years of team management experience) in Banking or Finance industry preferred
Experience of working data concern management quality programs (e.g. BCBS 239 program).
Experience of Citi technology architecture and familiarity with multiple asset classes (e.g. Banking, Interest Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities, Equities, Prime) would be advantageous.
Proficient in engaging and influencing large business and data teams and executive leaders.Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Experience in continuous improvement and ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail.
Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them.
Strong risk and control mindset, with experience of working with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense functions.
Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with large, complex, and diverse teams.
Communicates effectively, develops, and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
