We are seeking a Data Analyst with 2-4 years of experience in analyzing transportation and mobility data. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience in data visualization, and the ability to extract insights from large datasets related to transport operations, logistics, and mobility trends.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale transport and mobility datasets from various sources (GPS tracking, IoT sensors, ticketing systems, etc.).
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to provide actionable insights.
- Identify patterns, trends, and inefficiencies in transport data to improve operations and optimize routes.
- Work closely with stakeholders, operations teams, and data engineers to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast demand, optimize fleet utilization, and enhance decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across various sources.
- Develop SQL queries and scripts to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve transport efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to enhance data collection and processing methods.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in transportation, logistics, or mobility sectors.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience working with transport-related data, including GPS tracking, fleet management, and route optimization.
- Ability to handle, clean, and process large datasets efficiently.
- Understanding of statistical techniques and predictive modeling for transport analytics.
- Experience in working with ETL pipelines and data transformation processes.
- Strong communication skills to translate data insights into business strategies
