Within centre demand planning, global size analytics team is dedicated to understanding product selling at the size level across all brands, categories, genders, channels, and customers. Given the size-intensive nature of the product we sell and the complex network of points of sale, understanding our performance at a size and store level is important to the success of Levi Strauss & Co. The Size Planning team is guided by data to build accurate size profiles and size strategies to maximise revenues through optimised investment.


The Size Data Analyst will be the main person for all sizing activities. You will oversee the size level production signal and oversee the strategic direction of the size forecast including risk and opportunity identification and action.  You will coordinate main strategic plans in strategy.  You will work across the organisation to guide the sizing inputs and perspectives that achieve our goals.


About the Job


Data Generation: Create size profiles using related tools for specific product segments and locations.


Data Analysis: Produce impactful analytics that guide meaningful business discussions and actions to enhance size productivity, inventory efficiency, and financial results.


Decision-Making: Use data to guide size decisions (size offerings and profiles). Create any reports/analysis to provide hindsight/insight to relevant team to maximise inventory investment returns by identifying, delivering insights.


Collaboration: Partner with Merchandising, Sales, Allocation, Inventory Management, and Merchandise Planning teams to guide size grid strategies.


Knowledge Acquisition: Gain in-depth product and area-specific knowledge to provide informed recommendations and support important decisions on size offerings.


Ad Hoc Requests: Respond to sizing requests based on our needs, including size grid changes and size-out investigations.


Coordination & Communication: Align activities and timelines with the GTM process and planning milestones. Communicate main sizing deliverables and timings, including follow-ups.


Train and support: Serve as a subject-matter expert on all sizing tools. Train users on sizing tools and systems, providing ongoing support.


Improve size curve accuracy and grid productivity: Oversee all size signal deliverables and ensure size profile accuracy, by partnering with team to deliver pre-season and in-season sizing activities and analysis required.


AI/Machine learning projects: Review and validate machine learning size profiles and provide input to data scientists to enhance the ML model. Participate in user acceptance testing to help develop digital sizing tools.


About You


Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Communications, Statistics, Data analytics, Computer science or a related field.


Experience: Minimum 4+ years of working experience in analytics teams. Fashion & Apparel industry experience is good to have.


Technical Skills: High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Experience in Python, understanding of SQL, experience with one of the data visualisation tools (Google Looker Studio is good to have).


Analytical Skills: Analytical skills, high degree of ownership. Interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data.


Data Visualisation: Skillful in data visualisation and storytelling to present ideas


Teamwork: Has to build professional relationships with diverse partners and work in a team environment.
