About the role


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated analytics personnel to join our Data & Analytics team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our data-driven initiatives and be responsible for shaping up and deploying analytics solutions that drives business values for stakeholders.


The role calls for seasoned data analyst with experience in developing analytics solutions on cloud environments, can work with cross functional teams to independently lead data discovery, analyze and interpret large datasets to generate insights. It will involve mapping business problems to a formal analytics solution, working with wide range of structured and unstructured data, architecture design, leading the Data Hub development, setting up operations for the product with the support from DevOps and MLOps team. Beyond the technical skillset, independent communication and problem-solving in complex set-up will be key to the success for this role.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the creation of Data Hub by partnering with data architects / engineers to define and build data pipelines from source systems.
  • Implement data strategy for data ingestion, data manipulation, harmonization and data analysis.
  • Understand the use and impact of Data Lake principles like Normalized/Denormalized Data, SCDs etc and recommend apt approach for analytics use cases.
  • Deploy Data Governance framework and performance metrics to evaluate data quality issues and identify areas for enhancement in our data sources and internal processes.
  • Support Data stewards to conceptualize projects and initiate activities to harmonize data by implementing data governance processes.
  • Refine and frame business problem statements into analysis plan and hypotheses to be solved by basic to big data analyses.
  • Independently lead projects by leveraging Mondelez Analytics Platform– Google Cloud Platform (GCS, BigQuery), SQL, pyspark, power BI.
  • Deriving actionable insights from data findings and being able to drive meaningful discussions with business stakeholders.
  • Be part of cross disciplinary team working with other analysts, product managers, data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, data managers and business partners.

Job Specific Requirements:


  • Brings 5+ years experience in developing analytics solutions using multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Foundational Knowledge of Data Lake Principles, Data Governance and Data Engineering for developing data hub in a in a clouds-based environment such as GCP, Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python and PySpark.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
  • Data Modelling experience in designing Normalized/Denormalized Data, SCDs, Snowflake star schema.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience with GCP platforms and services such as Big Query, and Cloud Storage.
  • Experience with project management activities and following through on project charters.
  • Experience in business consultancy / partnering to support delivery of projects.
  • Self-driven, be able to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, adaptability to the changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and able to communicate with business stakeholders independently.

Education/Certifications:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Engineering, Analytics.
