Purpose of the Job:

Provide value to the manufacturing business by designing and developing customised solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform. Primarily focussed around the Finance and Operations application, this role will support the current live entities, whilst also contributing to the solution that is being rolled out globally.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

• Configuring, developing and supporting Dynamics 365 ERP in line with best practices
• Developing solutions from business requirements
• Troubleshooting existing functionality and providing fixes
• Following the software development lifecycle to design, code, test and deploy new features
• Mentor junior members and knowledge share with the team
• Help drive the maturity of the development team in the area of D365 development
• Work within an Agile team and contributing to the methodology’s ceremonies
• Contribute to, and maintain technical documentation and training material where required
• Ensure solutions confirm to Rotork’s security standards

Qualifications & Technical knowledge:

Essential

• University degree or relevant experience in industry
• Good experience of developing for D365 Finance and Operations
• Strong knowledge of Visual Studio and X++
• Deep understanding of source control and delivering through CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to create clear documentation of all current processes and newly added processes
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to set expectations and deliver solutions in a timely and effective manner

Desirable

• Experience with writing SQL statement, queries and procedures
• .NET
• Knowledge of the workings of a manufacturing business
• Understanding of how to develop against the D365 CRM applications
