Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, with a strong background in securing and protecting sensitive information and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the organization's digital assets.
  
• Ensure all security measures comply with industry standards and regulations.
  
• Monitor network traffic for security breaches and investigate anomalies or suspicious activities.
  
• Respond promptly to security incidents, mitigate threats, and implement necessary remediation.
  
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
  
• Recommend and implement solutions to address identified vulnerabilities.
  
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate and implement security measures.
  
• Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and security technologies.
  
• Proactively address potential risks by implementing advanced security measures.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, preferably in a corporate or government environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
  
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, such as vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
