Role: Cyber Security Architect


Description:


The Cyber Security Architect is part of the Information Management (IM) function. He/she will integrate DSFE (IM Cyber Security Architecture & Consulting). He/she is a key person in charge of providing Cyber security consultancy, guidance and support to business projects. She/He has worldwide coverage and is in regular contact with all IM Product managers and architects in Europe, Airbus remote offices and affiliates.


About the team & the Role 


The Airbus DSF organization (Foundations, Extended Enterprise and Roof security) provides a wide range of internal IT/security services to Airbus employees across the globe.


Security for Extended Enterprise is improving digital cybersecurity maturity and effectiveness on affiliates, suppliers and customers. Its missions are to reduce overall Group risk exposure and to ensure a secure collaboration from a global end-to-end vision from suppliers to customers.


The Cyber Security Architect will be in charge of providing CyberSecurity consultancy and cyber Support to the business projects and to IM domains.


The successful candidate will be part of a Security Analysts team and will assess the applications, in terms of cybersecurity compliance, before externalization. In addition, he/she will be the main point of contact for the team for any cybersecurity and technical questions.


He/She will be under the responsibility of the Service Delivery Manager in India for operational follow-up and delivery.


She/he will be also part of the Architect Cybersecurity community from DSF and will be involved in activities regarding new solutions definition (review, proposal, presentation, etc.).


As Cyber Security Architect,  you will:


  • Read and understand architecture documents of business applications


  • Perform technical meetings with Application Managers to dig on specific topics


  • Perform cybersecurity assessments of Airbus applications, according to the latest Airbus Corporate Security standards, directives, tools and processes


  • Perform risks evaluation assessment for each non-compliance identified and recommend changes or enhancements


  • Track and follow-up the implementation of remediation action plans


  • Communicate with different Airbus Stakeholders and product owners to implement/adapt security services/products within business solutions


  • Prepare documentation related to these assessments (minutes of meetings, reports)


  • Contribute to the Cybersecurity for Extended Enterprise operational activities and manage End to End associated processes


  • Ensure Airbus infrastructure and solutions follow the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, and best practice security products


  • Provide overall status and updates through associated trackers and tools


  • Proactively contribute to the DSF Cybersecurity community


  • Act as the IT/IS Security focal point for the team - as such, you will have to provide guidance and take decisions


  • Establish and maintain privileged relationship with these Airbus IM organizations


  • Ensure the good reporting for her/his activity in coordination with the SDM


  • Have a collaborative mindset, and be a real team player (motivated & motivational) 


  • Challenge traditional ways of thinking and propose new ideas 


Qualification & Experience:


  • Graduate/Post Graduate with 5+ years of experience in IT, Cyber or equivalent field


  • Expert level:


    • System architecture and Network architecture


    • Network Security (policies, processes and practices adapted to analyst accesses)


    • Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions (like Firewalls, VDI, NAC, Bastion, DLP, IAM, MFA, antimalware, IDS/IPS, proxies,...)


    • Knowledge of cyber security standards controls & framework (NIST, ISO 27001, …)


    • Analytical skills (analyze data and think critically)


    • Structured mindset and ability to follow an established process


    • Parallelisation of tasks


    • Proactive and can-do attitude


    • Ability to provide guidance and take decisions


    • Certified to, or able to demonstrate strong working knowledge of ISO27001, CISSP or CSSP, CEH, OSCP, etc.


  • Security Specialist on one (or several) of the following technologies domains:


Windows security, Linux/Unix/MacOs/Android security, ubernetes/dockers/containers security, Public cloud Azure/AWS/GCP security, Mainframe (Z/Os family) security, Crypto / PKI / HSM / vaults, 3DX/Catia security, SAP authorization, SAP Basis security, PLM /windchill security, Identity and access management (IAM, MFA, SSO, ID Federation, authN/AuthZ, etc.), Bastion security, GCP/GSuite security, Virtualization security (Hypervisors, VDI, etc.), Storage security, ZeroTrust & Network security, Active directory security


  • Intermediate level:


    • Communication (verbal and written) and professional networking skills


    • Capability to understand and deliver new business and customer requirements in the Digital domain


  • Other:


    • Knowledge of Airbus


    • Knowledge of Aerospace domain (desirable but not mandatory)


    • Tools: FENCE, Jira and/or Confluence knowledge is a plus
