About You and This Role
As a Customs Coordinator, you will handle a variety of daily exceptions in the customs process for Europe and advise internal customers on general customs-related issues. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the supply chain and ensuring that products reach their destinations efficiently and cost-effectively, considering compliance and customs regulations. It requires quick and precise handling of tasks, especially due to the importance of compliance with sanctions. You must be knowledgeable in customs regulations and proficient in digital systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You act as an informal resource for business contacts and site logistics.
Your performance impacts the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of our interactions with local customs authorities and thereby the efficiency of our import and export processes for Europe. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and maintaining the continuity of our global trade processes. Responsibilities
Qualifications
Minimum of a vocational degree is required.
3+ years of experience.
Experience with SAP (GTS) eCustoms.
Customs process knowledge for The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, and/or Great Britain is preferred.
Preferred: Local language skills in Dutch, German, French, and/or Italian.
Required: English C1.
Preferred Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly & precisely.

Time management, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Understanding customer needs.
Teamwork.

Technical proficiency in the use of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and preferably SAP-GTS.
