Job Description:


Job Summary
The Global Business Support Specialist Create new accounts and perform specific maintenance requests as received through Customer Engagement Center (CEC). CCRs also work email and chat requests from ups.com.

 Provides Service Failure Recovery Management


  • Receive inbound calls from customers looking to create new accounts or perform various maintenance tasks in the Customer Resource Information System (CRIS).
  • Key activities include:
  • Gather necessary information to create new customer accounts using Program Enrollment Application (PEA)
  •  Complete account address changes
  •  Convert customers to regular scheduled pickups and send notifications to the Package Centers
  • Perform account cancellations
  • Order shipping supplies
  • Assist customers in obtaining contract service agreements (Alcohol/Hazmat)
  •  Request Sales contact when needed
  •  Manage new accounts through the Associations Program (ex. American Bar Association, Travel Association)

 Provides Solution and Implementation Support


 Supports Customer Solutions Business Development


  • Identifies additional business and new revenue generation opportunities to increase client base and revenue generation.
  • Identifies account penetration opportunities to grow the business and increase revenue.
  • Provides prompt spot rate quotes to secure every opportunity presented.
