Who we are looking for:
Client Service representatives responsible for resolving queries and investigating issues from Investment Managers for funds managed at State Street
Perform both client facing and operational processing functions for Accounting and Custody. Research and resolve client inquires and service related requests. Escalating and directing issues for immediate remediation. On a daily and weekly basis execute many operational tasks as per deadlines.
What you will be responsible for:
Responsible for ensuring and reviewing all the CSO requirements such as Daily/weekly recon on Cash, Stock and Income.
On a daily basis identify failed & unmatched trades, reason for it and initiate the resolution process
Conduct independent research to gather and record data from internal systems. Interact with various internal and external teams as required to obtain the resolution.
Manage the day-to-day activities of a functional/oversight team by monitoring, reviewing and validating all daily activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Check for the cash flows, Swifts, Fax and follow up with internal/external teams.
Answer and/or review internal and external client queries in relation to accounting and custody. Analyze the problem and obtain and evaluate information to reach sound conclusions.
Notifying the team about any issues and inquiries observed in day to day working
Research and resolve discrepancies, exceptions and issues and escalate unresolved issues to management as required
Provide timely accurate management reporting and issue log maintenance, under moderate supervision
Coordinate effective and timely flow of critical information to all relevant parties and follows up on administrative details within the department
Identify and execute transformation and automation initiatives with a focus on process simplification and improvement
Ensure SOPs / process flows / training manuals are updated on regular basis

Understanding of client SLAs and metrics
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Competent to Expert (Technical) / Advanced Beginner with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and a focus in Finance or related field preferred
Good understanding and exposure to Capital markets.
Reconciliation in Accounting and Custody /Trade & settlements background. Graduate and above preferably in Finance
Experience 7-9 years of related experience preferably from Reconciliation in Accounting and Custody /Trade & settlements background. Graduate and above preferably in Finance
Additional requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English)
Computer literate & MS Office expert
Knowledge of SICAV funds and associated accounting
Advanced knowledge of cycle and settlement specificities for securities and cash
Flexibility in re-prioritizing tasks
Good understanding of Financial products
