Job Description

About the role


• Responsible for leading the country procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively maximize the value received from the suppliers to meet the company objectives
• Works with each business unit to lead centralized sourcing and procurement efforts, 
• Works with the internal stakeholder from initial need identification to procurement strategy definition and implementation
• Drives supply analysis/strategy, supplier identification, sourcing execution, contract negotiation and suppliers performance management and improvement. 
• Delivers cost savings opportunities to the organization, and assist in developing commodity strategy
• Supports/Manages team capability build up by coaching and leading the team


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:


• Creation and management of short, mid, and long term strategic procurement goals and objectives for Direct, Subcontracting and IM&S categories (together with his/her direct reports if there is any.)
• Creation and improvement of procurement processes in alignment with the stakeholders, including market analysis, strategy sourcing & negotiation and contract approval.
• Identification and realization of cost-saving opportunities including local / regional consolidation projects
• Management of procurement systems
• Management of procurement staff in and across sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities.
• Development of the team strategy and support for the employee development by offering proper training, coaching and job rotation opportunities 
• Manage and monitor Supplier Performance, lead the development of corrective actions plans and follow-up when there are issues
• Develop and maintain supplier pool
• Ensure subcontractors' compliance with company policies and procedures in coordination with Global Compliance Team.
• Analyze and understand the cost drivers associated with each category/supplier
• Benchmark current products across suppliers and identify consolidation opportunities
• Support procurement aspects of the related projects



Qualifications

8-10 years’ experience in procurement 


Bachelor Degree or above ; MBA is an advantage
 • Strong leadership skill
 • Team player at executive levels to collaborate with business units and functional partners 
 • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
 • Strong negotiation skills
 • Experience with modern sourcing and procurement systems
 • Good communication skills, strategic mindset and problem-solving skills 
 • Good/Excellent written and spoken English
