We are hiring for Country Operations Manager – India, who will be responsible for coordinating all activities within their assigned service centers in India, delivering positive operational performance results, and leading & coordinating the operations teams, primarily made up of technicians.

Role Overview: The Country Operations Manager will be having direct responsibility for customer service delivery and the coordination and facilitation of core operations activities in the service centers. This individual will also lead and manage technicians and coordinate the preparation and repair of Aggreko equipment.
What you’ll do:
Commercial Management:
Owns local financial admin tasks within & external to Service Centre
Drives business standards & cost controls to ensure profitability.
Technician overtime vs. forecasts / budgets
Subcontractor & temp labor spends vs. forecast / budget
Test & turn spend & Inventory variances.
Technician travel spend & Consumables spend.
Labor recovery details
Credit & stand-down detailed review
Change order review
Monthly review and ownership of the above controllable costs
Owns procurement within the Service Centre
Fleet Management
Ensures on time maintenance, availability & reliability of asset pre delivery and during operation. Equipment Transfer requests & ensure equipment is ‘green carded’ & functional for deployment
Ensures accuracy of available asset and inventory yard based, Parts supply and core returns, as well as service material costs by budget or KPI
Accountable for the appropriate & timely deployment of fleet & staff.
Facility Management
Manages necessary administration process and allocates accordingly
Responsible for ensuring compliance with GSCS standards
Requisitions and reports receipt of supplies, parts, and fleet.
Ensures effective adherence to policies & procedures
Acts as secondary contact for ARM alarms
Executes tasks per the monthly operations calendar
People Management:
Lead for technician recruitment
Supports service execution delivery to customer service levels
Shares accountability for technician supervision & scheduling
Ensures optimal team performance and capability by providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, development and corrective action.
Manages all aspects of their team
Maintains staffing to shop & field technician deployment guidelines.
Safety:
Drives safety performance & accountability
Ensures that facilities & work areas are safe, clean & GSCS Compliant
Conduct daily toolbox & Safety meetings.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Education - Engineering Graduate, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Post graduation is an added advantage.
Experience - 20 years of experience, predominantly in Operations Management, Project Management with team management experience
