Job Description

Purpose of the Job


Act as Head of the leadership team in country to bring the team together to deliver the overall country performance. Hold dotted line responsibility for every function in a country, who collectively are responsible for delivering the Growth+ strategy along with the financial, HSE and employee engagement performance metrics for the country. Responsible and accountable for P&L of the country.


Work collaboratively across all end markets and functions within the Country and hold others to account for delivering specific elements of the country performance.  


Directly responsible for leading the country sales support functions (customer support and application engineering).


Key Responsibilities and Outcomes


Sales Support Leadership:


  • Lead Customer Services (Inside Sales and Contracts) and Application Engineering teams to provide effective support to the end markets sales teams across the Country
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure resources are effectively deployed to support end markets inputs based on Rotork and customer priorities

People Leadership:


  • Lead teams within the country to deliver the Rotork vision and strategy 
  • Manage and coach leaders to drive excellent people management, business delivery and the Growth+ strategy
  • Driving change and growth with the right balance of entrepreneurial decision making and good corporate citizenship; ensuring decisions are made for the benefit of Rotork as a whole at all times
  • Recruit and develop team members as appropriate, setting clear and measurable objectives and having performance conversations as required. Ensure effective performance management is delivered for all staff across the country
  • Be the escalation point as needed to resolve people issues at a local level within the country

Financial Management:


  • Prepare, with support from the Finance team, consolidated budget and growth plans for the country to include Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Quarterly Forecasting (QPR) and other related submissions.
  • Fulfil wider reporting responsibilities, including performance and sales plans, forecasting and other KPIs as needed with support of sales teams
  • Ensure governance and tools & processes are respected and adhered to by acting as an advocate for Rotork controls

Communication and Collaboration:


  • Work effectively through a matrix structure to build growth and strong, productive internal relationships that create benefit for multiple functions. Act as the communication channel between all functions in the country
  • Manage country wide communication cascades (such as Pulse Survey results, Growth+ strategy)
  • Act as an advocate of group strategy at local level, group policies and initiatives implementation (e.g. D365 roll out)

Customer Ownership:


  • Customer ownership through the wider team to drive excellent customer relationships
  • Be the escalation point as needed to resolve internal and external customer queries and issues

Project Pipeline and Project Oversight:


  • Be responsible for new product introduction, local marketing campaigns and event management in country in collaboration with End Markets teams in country
  • Act as the advocate to push the strategy for local products globally (working with product management team)

Qualifications
    • Proven experience with a successful track record of leading others
    • Degree or similar recognised qualification in Engineering
    • Good command of English, (both spoken and written)
    • Rounded management experience covering sales, manufacturing and financial management
