Job Description

Role within the project


  • As a part of the commercial management team, the role will support the delivery of the projects from a cost management perspective


Job Objectives


  • Assisting on cost feasibility for business requirements
  • Benchmarking, cost estimation, and cost planning
  • Interfacing with the client, presenting the reports and coordinating with multiple stakeholders for their inputs, concurrence, approvals, etc. on all relevant documents and reports
  • Tendering and procurement with negotiations with supplier partners, including management of the pre-qualification, tender analysis, reports, and compiling the contractual documents
  • Raising purchase order requests and managing the payments throughout the payment cycle
  • Dealing effectively with post-contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable referring major changes to line manager
  • Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place
  • Producing fortnightly and monthly cost reports and presenting them to the client
  • Coordinate with Sourcing, finance, and payable teams as and when required to finish the deliverables

Qualifications

Skills Required


  • 5 - 10 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • Technical knowledge of commercial interior fit-out projects
  • B.E/B.Tech - Civil/ Electrical /Mechanical
  • Prior experience of handling interior fit out projects is required and Candidates with Commercial project exposure could be prioritised, preferably should know background working on CostX 
  • Good knowledge of all methods of construction and procurement.
  • Proven cost and/or commercial management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
