Title and Summary


Corporate Solutions – Program Management Office (PMO) - Manager• The card and non-card, business-to-business (‘B2B’) payments space represents a significant opportunity for Mastercard. To enable Mastercard to deliver value in this space it needs to think big and bold, innovate with intention, deliver scalable solutions, and move fast to exceed our clients’ expectations.
• Mastercard is focused on developing partnerships, a platform vision, and an approach to address historic pain points around B2B Payments, as well as to create new value delivery opportunity at multiple levels, in ways that go beyond payment.
• The PMO is responsible for 5 pillars supporting the Corporate Solutions B2B payments business:
o Executive Reporting – Work with cross-functional stakeholders to prepare updates to the CEO, Management Committee, and other senior leadership groups
o Partnership Commercialization - Accelerate partner commercialization, establish repeatable processes for contracting, go-to-market planning, and track KPIs post-implementation. This includes building direct relationships with B2B network partners and expanding relationships within the B2B networks and their clients to drive payment volumes
o Product Strategy and Governance - Maintain a consolidated product roadmap across multiple large global programs and enforce change management by using a quantitative scoring methodology to ensure new solution requests align to Commercial Solutions strategy
o Post-Acquisition Integration - Manage acquisition integration across functions, maintain a comprehensive plan to manage key risks and interdependencies. Lead development of acquisition key tracking metrics aligned with transaction value drivers and manage synergy plans to drive performance management
o Vendor Performance Management – Work with Product and Engineering leads to develop and monitor metrics to measure and track vendor and partner performance, identify growth and improvement opportunities, and evaluate the value and impact
• We are looking for an experienced PMO Manager with a background in the payments industry and change management to join our growing team.
• The candidate will mobilize cross-functional teams, deliver solutions for scale using data-driven decision making, to launch and take to market solutions that accelerate our customers' success.
• The candidate will lead PMO coverage for 2 product programs (Data as a Service and Trade and Treasury Solutions) and be tasked to work with global and regional Product and Engineering leadership, other internal Mastercard teams and external clients to drive measurable outcomes.
• The candidate will be responsible for partnering with Product and Engineering to help define the roadmap and long-term strategy of the group including chairing bi-weekly roadmap meetings with senior leadership.
• The candidate will also act as the subject matter expert for Aha! and JIRA by supporting teams in creating and managing product roadmaps in Aha! and tracking status in JIRA. They will ensure seamless collaboration between product, engineering, and PMO teams through optimized tool usage.

Role
• Lead complex and high-priority projects for Product and Engineering teams developing products for Issuers, Corporates, FinTechs, and Platforms serving buyers & suppliers in the large market B2B space.
• Actively manage sponsors and stakeholders with competing priorities and time constraints across all typical project phases:
o Project initiation and scoping, including definition of plans and setting and managing realistic expectations for successful delivery with internal stakeholders and external clients:
- Support business case development and benefits realization tracking
- Develop project documentation, including project plans, risk and issue logs, and status reports.
o Business analysis and requirements definition
- Support business case development and benefits realization tracking
o Testing and implementation
- Communicate implementation and testing status to senior management, and other key stakeholders.
o Ongoing project management, and quality assurance throughout the project
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and communications including preparation and distribution of Bi-Weekly Project Updates and measurements against GDV targets
- Ensure compliance with program and project management standards
All About You
Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in program or project management within payments, treasury, or commercial card solutions
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Aha! and JIRA in a project management or product management environment
• Deep understanding of non-card payment solutions and global treasury management
• Extensive experience increasing transparency and conflict resolution on a large-scale program.
• Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders outside their direct control
• Excellent communications skills to communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and clients, and to facilitate stakeholder meetings
• Strong analytical skills to analyze data and information, to make informed decisions, and to identify and mitigate risks and issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work across products, regions, and functions, preferably in the financial services industry
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Must be adaptable and able to work well under pressure, as well as be open to change and able to adjust to new circumstances and situations as they arise
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable or additional capabilities:
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of one or more key B2B corporate business areas, how they work and commercials
• Business to business (B2B) network and solution awareness
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
