This role is responsible for managing the Income and CA events with a team size of 12-14 members. The team provides a vital role in the Income and Corporate Action value stream which captures and process voluntary and mandatory events in the US/UK and APAC Market. There is a high degree of risk associated with this position and risk management skills are critical. The role is based out of Hyderabad, Telangana , they will work closely with our global teams/sites.

What you will be responsible for
As a Manager (Operations Manager) you will:
- Manage day to day operation of Income events and Voluntary & Mandatory Corporate Action events.
- Manage a team of approximately 10 to 12 full time employees.
- Become a Subject matter expert of the process to be able to guide the team, provide solution and handle escalations.
- Assign workload based on analyst expertise, event complexity, work volume and time sensitivity.
- Calculates entitlements based on corporate actions terms and conditions and processes the requisite adjustments and possible ensuring market transactions in a timely and accurate manner .
- Understand the pricing methodology of equity and fixed income product.
- Analyze the impact of securities trading suspension, delisting and adjustment factors that impact the overall fund portfolio.
- Reconciliation of the position entitled and the entitlement with custody payments.
- Researches and resolves all breaks – substantiate the breaks by identifying the root cause and solving them.
- Monitors all Income & corporate action inflow of the events and publish updates to the team.
- Perform intra-day checks and EOD checks for the actions completed or pending and elevate any challenges according to the established procedures.
- Assists in training of new employees; Act as technical resource to the team.
- Hold team meetings to discuss current group issues and market trends.
- Meet individually with analysts to provide direct performance feedback and address concerns.
- Participate in on-going training and development.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive through fruition.
- Review and update SOPs.

- Experience in booking various Income events and corporate action types like DRIPS, DVOPS, Consent, Conversions, Bonus rights, Splits, Tenders, Bids, Exchange offers etc.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle of a securities transaction across custody and clearing houses.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity lifecycle.
- Understands Fixed Income pricing and interest rate calculation.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters for checking securities pricing, description, corporate action information, corporate news etc.
- Knowledge of tax rule applied in various markets for corporate actions entitlements.
- Experience in performing securities and cash reconciliation
- Hands on experience in fund accounting that includes corporate actions transaction postings.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry recognized qualification. MBA preferred.
- 10 years’ experience in financial services with minimum 3 years of relevant Corporate Action experience.
