Who we are looking for:
Under the direction of the Senior Associate/Officer, the Associate I acts as a liaison between the different client/IM service teams and the Subcustodians/Depositories to ensure the proper settlement of security and cash transactions.

This is a challenging role because ABO FX & Recon (ABO) will be the point of contact for all internal SSB teams who are looking for market specific information. ABO team considered to be the market experts and hence, our response will be considered final and provided to end client. If there is any deviation, then ABO will be held responsible. There is a lot of learning scope in this process.

What you will be responsible for:
As an ABO Associate, you will:
- Ensure Sub custodian/Depository messages are received daily as outlined in the operating requirements/SLAs
- Follow up on pending trades (cash and securities) to ensure timely settlement
- Responsible for the resolution of cash and security exceptions
- Complete daily processing within established deadlines
- Research and resolve internal and external inquiries
- Mitigate risk by identifying operational issues
- Ensures daily processing is accurate and complete
- Continually challenge existing operational processes to ensure optimal efficiency
- Participates in all departmental and corporate initiatives as needed
- Responds to standard client requests, where client may be internal or external
- Uses existing, clearly defined procedures to solve routine problems
- Asks questions, checks for understanding, provides explanation clearly and precisely
- Works co-operatively with others to achieve team goals
- Builds stable and useful working relationships

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
