Job Description

As a Copy Editor, you'll be working remotely full-time and reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance. You'll be relied on to perform a heavy copy edit for highly technical reports. The role is an important step in the process of guaranteeing top-quality work for our clients.

The source content, produced by cybersecurity experts with a wide range of writing experience, will refer to technical functions that have not yet been published. Therefore, not all editorial solutions can be searched for online; you must be able to use your professionally developed editorial judgement. Crucially, you'll need to find and analyze context clues to make the best edit and leave comments for the writer.

The expected hours are between 2 PM and 11 PM IST during a 3-month probation period.

Below are the roles and responsibilities for the Copy Editor, Cyber Risk in India:

·       The ability to provide clear, actionable feedback.

·       An enthusiasm for learning about technological advancements.

·       The drive to ask questions.

Prerequisites

·       A Bachelor of Literature/Arts in English, Communications, Literature, Linguistics, or a similar field and 2+ years of copy-editing experience.

·       Skills in edit-tracking software and the ability to adapt to new programs.
