As a Control Management Associate for CIB Finance Control Management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the line of business has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment by driving, identifying and escalating issues with a sense of urgency, and partnering with the people across the globe, across a diverse set of stakeholders increasing visibility across the organization. You will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm and also drive change and keep all business abreast & compliant of all applicable controls.


Job Responsibilities 


  • Create of key Control forum packs, leveraging a number of different source to provide an operational overview to stakeholders
  • Work on Controls monitoring for BAU activities ensuring the Firm is compliant with the User Tool & Intelligent Solutions control requirements.
  • Partner closely and effectively with teams across various locations to ensure effective escalation & timely resolution of non-Compliant items..
  • Effectively  host, communicate and participate in meetings
  • Identify and communicate control gaps, risks, and propose improvements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :


  • Minimum 1 year experience in finance or Control’s role.
  • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership, has a sense of urgency, intellectual curiosity, and resourcefulness. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; 
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good organizational skills - manages & prioritizes multiple tasks across different time horizons within deadlines.
  • A good understanding of controls and how to apply them to different processes and businesses.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :


  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups) and PowerPoint, Microsoft Access desirable 
  • Alteryx, Tableau & Qlik sense skills are also a plus
