Job Description: 


Global Business Planner (Chief of Staff) role within Contract Management Operations interacts directly with the Director of CO&C, CO&C Leadership & CXP Leadership.  This role also manages the planning for CO&C & Global relationship between HP and Vendor in conjunction with the Global Director, for all global aspects of the Vendor SOW.  Additionally, this role will lead both ad hoc and strategic projects on an as-needed basis – anything that is needed to keep the organization running smoothly and to ensure the team is working towards the same objectives/outcomes. This is a highly dynamic role that serves as a trusted go-to leader to get things done and works effectively across all levels of the organization. 


Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Frequently represents the organization to internal stakeholders and the Vendor.  Position typically reports to Director or above.


Responsibilities:


Define, implement, and manage an on-going operating governance & process of management across the organization such as staff meetings, stakeholder governance and communications. 
Track, monitor and follow progress of projects, action items and deadlines of Director and Regional Operations Managers to ensure success and that deadlines are met
Track, monitor the KPI’s of CMO and vendor organization.
Leads or contributes to solution and strategy development on a global and/or business-wide level.
Coordinate with Regional Operations managers regional performance reporting and issue resolution
Budget management to include engagement with Finance, month-end-close processes, cross charges and Long-Term Plan (LTP) processes
Significant impact on team and organization performance by acting as role model, actively sharing knowledge and ideas to improve team success, acting as coach/mentor, champions change.
Maintain governance model between HP and Vendor
Vendor SOW interpretation, maintenance, and review (incl. additions and removal of new services or redundant services)
Ability to manage and track Vendor Change orders, including financials, as well as contract negotiation with support of Global Procurement
Key leader for employee engagement, recognition, and rewards overseeing the team goals, including site activity tracking, organization engagement plan, and employee engagement analysis.
Address and resolve global escalations



Education and Experience Required: 


First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
Typically, 10+ years of related experience, preferably in business operations, general business or financial management.
Typically, 4-6 years of experience supporting global/regional processes with extensive global/regional coordination.
Project management certification preferred.

Superior communication skills (e.g., written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English
Superior leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills.
Exceptional financial and business acumen; in-depth business and industry knowledge
Excellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and business acumen skills
Excellent ability to collaborate and network with other groups and functions to reach business objectives, in support of the customer/partner requirements.
Excellent ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with external customers/partners up to the Executive level.
Mature negotiation and relationship management skills
High degree of flexibility and ability to work in constantly changing environment
