Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contracting Operations Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance Operations team. This role will focus on supporting the business with specific types of contracts, acting as the main point of contact for these agreements, and driving efficiency in contract management processes. The successful candidate will leverage advanced tools, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms and AI-powered solutions, to ensure high-quality contract analytics and compliance.




Key Accountabilities

Contract Support & Consultation:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for queries related to designated contract types, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Provide guidance to business stakeholders on the interpretation, drafting, and execution of contracts, aligning with organizational policies and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with legal, IP, Compliance and operational teams to address specific contract needs and escalations.
  • Advise business partners of contractual rights and obligations, provide interpretation of terms and conditions.

Best Practices Development:


  • Support the development and implementation of best practices, templates, and playbooks for the designated contract types to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Continuously assess and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect changes in regulations, business requirements, or tools.

Contract Management & Tools Utilization:


  • Utilize Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools for contract drafting and review
  • Leverage AI-powered tools for contract review, risk identification, and analytics to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Support implementation and testing of automated contract templates

Collaboration & Communication:


  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on contract terms, timelines, and deliverables


Experience
  • Bachelor of Laws, with emphasis on contract law;
  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience as a contracting lawyer or contracting specialist (commercial contracting experience preferred);
  • Embrace innovation, Agile mindset and focus on continuous improvement;
  • Be tech savvy, and have an interest to develop these skills more;
  • Knowledge or experience with working with CLM tool/ Icertis is a plus;
  • Strong communicator and collaborative mindset;
  • Proactive approach in recognizing needs, solving problems, anticipating issues and developing solutions;
  • Manage dialogue with support functions and key stakeholders;
  • International mind-set – sensible for cultural differences;
