Job Description

Responsible for Overall Legal guidance in the Wind EPC vertical, Wind EPC Contract Management, managing legal issues, Litigation, Vetting of Land Documents, Handling service agreements of Wind farm developers, Balance of plant contractors, Installation service providers and other sub-vendors in the Wind EPC value chain. Risk and Mitigation analysis of EPC projects with Legal Opinion, Compliance providing framework for the EPC project development. 


Key Responsibility areas:


•    Drafting and negotiating multiple contracts including Land development, Pooling Substation, construction, HV & EHV Line construction, Turnkey contracts, NDA, MOU’s and all other required contracts.
•    Reviewing, Monitoring and recording of all the updates pertaining to all the contract management cycle.
•    Responsible for performing a complete and accurate compliance and due diligence in line with FCAP act process for On boarding Business partners.
•    Managing the contract process in accordance with organizational guidelines. Maintaining quality standards and applying tools to support Contract Management processes.
•    Participate in contract negotiation and in formulation/implementation of negotiation strategy.
•    Work closely with Sales and Operations team and Lead the contract discussions with customers (OEM/IPP) in the wind sector.
•    Analyses and provide comments and solutions on tenders, contracts and contract related documents.
•    Responsible Implements superior standards, guidelines and processes regarding effective Contract Management.
•    Standardizes contracts and improves processes.
•    Advise Leadership team on new Investments and acquisitions in the Wind EPC value chain on an Legal risk mitigation perspective.
•    Responsible for evaluating the status of the Business partner company, performance review of the company, performing various check as per the standard process of the compliance policy.
•    Coordinating compliance activities within the project team and implementing compliance programs and ensuring such programs are coordinated and integrated with Compliance initiatives, with a focus on anti-bribery and corruption.
•    Periodical monitoring for all the approved vendors.
•    Review and maintain all key documents of the Vendors.
