Foundry, Mastercard’s innovation division is a global group focused on the evolution of technology and consumer trends and the implication of these forces on the payments and commerce industry. We are a collective of interdisciplinary teams powering Mastercard's ability to create and deliver differentiated products, services, and experiences.
Within Foundry, the global Research and Development (R&D) team does applied research on emerging and advanced technologies and brings it to bare to deliver new products at scale for Mastercard.
Foundry R&D is made up of talented developers, engineers, scientists, designers, researchers, data specialists, and program managers. We build knowledge in emerging technologies like quantum computing, extended reality, privacy enhancing technologies, generative AI and machine learning to conceptualize and create new products, services and experiences for Mastercard. We also bring the knowledge of cutting-edge technology to create concepts of the future, which not only inspire our customers but also fosters the culture of innovation within Mastercard.
The Content Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the R&D team by executing various creative tasks and overseeing the content strategy and execution across multiple platforms and formats. This role involves planning, development, and execution of content, including campaigns, product demos, presentations, blog posts, and newsletters, as well as maintaining social media accounts and helping to organize events. The role requires a detail-oriented, highly organized, strategic thinker with excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Key responsibilities:
• Creating and curating compelling and differentiated presentations and thought leadership pieces for the wider team.
• Create internal content for events, product demos, town halls, and company-wide communications.
• Manage the plans, content, and activities for R&D platforms, including Teams channels, LinkedIn, newsletters, and other marketing material.
• Engage colleagues, customers, and other key audiences to drive and promote Mastercard’s innovation narrative.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating internal and external events and promotional activities.
• Support administrative duties such as maintaining marketing/content calendars and preparing reports, videos, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure timely and effective execution of marketing activities.
• Social media management: monitor and engage with the brand’s social media communities, and help to grow and nurture these audiences organically.
• Ensure all materials align with the brand’s guidelines and messaging.
Skills
• Demonstrates a high level of creative problem-solving, a strong personal presence, manages change, thrives when dealing with uncertainty, and focuses on execution and organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Team mentality and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (CMS).
• Experience managing social media and content marketing tools .
• Proficiency in content and graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

• You enjoy working collaboratively and are ready to support your colleagues in achieving common goals. You are approachable, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
• Quick to learn new technologies and are always looking for ways to improve your efficiency.
• Understand the importance of the customer in marketing and communication and are dedicated to providing a positive experience through every interaction.
