Content Analyst

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Maintaining the existing Fundamentals/Physical Asset database available to the clients of the LSEG desktop, raw data productsand working on getting new data into the database. The responsibilities mainly include updating the database with commodities data acquired from open- and contracted source.

The team is passionate about commodities and ensuring that LSEG deliveries an outstanding content for specific commodities market segments (power, gas, agriculture, metals, crude/refined products/freight, power/gas/coal/emissions). 

Also, the team works closely with the commodities market analysts, to produce analytics that differentiates LSEG products from available on the market propositions.

We are looking for people who can work in a team, but at the same time be able to take ownership for what they deliver. We encourage innovative ways of working with the data.

Required Skills:

- understanding how the commodities markets operate worldwide,

- diligent individual who can meet deadlines and objectives,

- ability to work with large amount of information,

- good quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail,

- interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international team,

- excellent oral and written English,

- proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools.

Additional skill that are advantageous:

- experience in open-source research,

- professional or academic experience in energy and environmental markets and policy,

- ability to independently drive parts of larger projects,

- experience with databases, advanced Excel, Power BI skills,

- data upload and source automation methods,

- SQL skills.
