Overview This role will report into the Insights Sector head and serve as a key leadership team member among the sector consumer insights leads. Leader will oversee consumer insights work being delivered to the AMESA insights leaders, directors across brand marketing and BU GMs. It is also critical to note that the end state of the team and scope of work will continue to grow as the Global Insights group deploys new capabilities like Innovation Forecasting, Change Compass and Demand Spaces. This role is critical to increasing the impact and efficiency of Global Consumer Capabilities by elevating knowledge and expertise across the S&T AMESA consumer team and BUs. Identifying productivity savings by improving ways of working with S&T teams and technology used. Responsibilities Fully Staff and Lead AMESA consumer insights supporting AMESA sector BUs On-board, train new consumer insights talent in HYD ICC who are specialists in consumer testing, social listening consulting Support direct subordinates through mentoring & coaching in growing their functional and managerial capabilities Set and monitor performance goals for evaluation of direct subordinates Oversee project-based reporting and meta learnings led by the team of Analysts and ensure Sector needs are met Responsibility will include delivering consumer insights capability catalogue services to all AMESA BUs Drive integrated insights during AOPs, Strat Planning, Year End Assessments Present to Insights, Marketing and other senior leadership across each AMESA BU Represent sector needs and liaison with Global Consumer capabilities and partnership team to drive capability expansion and sustainability forward in AMESA BUs Deploy new capabilities like Innovation testing and Social Listening tools Pilot creative meta insights studies annually Key Skills/Experience: Business leaders collaboration skills to help them answer business critical questions Senior executive level presentation and communication skills. Multiple Stake holder management skills. Foundational understanding of Brands Health tracking tools Advanced understanding of Brand strategy process and Insights’ critical roles at each stage Supplier side client service experience in either Innovation and/or Content development Deep research methodology knowledge, experience driving business impact via Insights projects Experienced storyteller leveraging insights/consumer data and ability to shape deliverables for sr. (non insights) audience Ability to convert insights into narrative that answers critial business questions Hands on experience on data tools like Ada, Zappi, Kantar, Sprinklr, Tastewise, Black Swan, Euromonitor and more Understanding of data structures, skills in converting Business Issue into Analytical problem to solve for Expert in understanding multiple types of data like POS, Panel, Syndicated and Primary research data. Ability to visualize data set and identify KPIs that will help descision making. Ability to lead the team and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong Influencial skills, ability to work with senior leaders across the organization Strong people management skills Ability to mange day-to-day operations and guiding of analysts Advanced powerpoint and excel skills. Hands on in MS excel(advanced) Qualifications Leader who knows the business cold and is experience with the breadth of consumer insight tools Customer Centric – Constantly innovates to create value through business impact leveraging Ada/Zappi platform data Focuses & Gets Things Done - Pragmatic ability to balance need for process/discipline and embracing agile ways of working; always looks for ways to simplify workflow and reduce obstacles Excellent stakeholder and team leadership / mentorship skills Understands the PepsiCo systems and culture in order to drive actionable impact with deliverables Culture and Talent builder in the ICC Consumer org
