Consultant Application Engineer - DFT

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who will contribute to Siemens success by ensuring efficient utilization of Tessent DFT technologies to achieve best-in class performance & Quality of Results. The optimal candidate for this position would have a strong desire to tackle the most current and upcoming challenges in the area of DFT & Silicon Test. To achieve this goal & ensure optimum results, they would need to work cohesively with product, R&D, account and various other teams across the world.

Preferred work location is Bangalore. This position can entail as much as 25% travel.

Skills and Knowledge required:

• Must have In-depth understanding of Design for Test (DFT) architecture & structures including scan based test, ATPG, Compression, Memory BIST, Boundary Scan & IJTAG among others.
• Strong knowledge of VLSI concepts- HDL, Synthesis, STA with proven Industry track record in the area of Silicon test and design for testability.
• Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, program management skills and hands-on experience with latest DFT technologies.
• Self-starter with ability to operate independently & harness collective experience within Tessent group to develop solutions to complex problems.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in Electrical/Electronics and related Engineering streams.
• 8-15 Years of relevant experience of Industry design/consulting experience in DFT architecture, solution implementation, diagnosis & know-how on backend flows and tools.
• The candidate must be dedicated to excel in a techno-commercial capacity and ensure Siemens EDA Tessent product growth by enabling customer successes.
• They should possess hands-on expertise in Tessent DFX, DFT, compression, ATPG & Diagnosis solutions.
• DFT Insertion, ATPG, Memory BIST, Logic BIST, Boundary Scan along with STA, Synthesis & Simulation exposure. Experience with post silicon bring up and Diagnosis is a plus.
• Strong RTL fundamentals. Verilog, System Verilog & a scripting language must. Knowledge of VHDL, Spice, Circuit simulations & PD flows would be an advantage.

You will be part of a highly skilled team ensuring customer success with Siemens EDA Tessent Solutions. Your goals would be deployment of best-in-class methodologies, flows & industry leading world class DFT solutions into customer designs.

• Understand and work with unique customer requirements to architect most efficient & cost-effective technical solutions.

• Should be able to provide expert advice and contribute to technical campaigns across WW regions.

• Help account team's grow Siemens business by increasing adoption of Siemens DFT technologies at customers. Identify and qualify potential new business opportunities and work with the account teams to create and implement engagement plans.

• Work collaboratively with account, engineering & support teams to successfully deploy Tessent products and solutions.
