Job Description

Summary:


We are currently hiring a role within Client Services team. Role will require to work closely with Transaction Managers (Front Office), External Clients, KYC , Data services and the Operations team to ensure the controlled on-boarding of all new transactions from the pre-closing/funding stages through certain ongoing portfolio administration tasks. The individual will have responsibility for the completion of many key portfolio and transaction tasks and for reporting of aged items and ownership of resolution. As such they are required to be detail orientated, organized and able to maintain accurate and complete records at all times.


Responsibilities: 


Process Attributes:


  • The candidate must be adept at reading credit agreements and evaluating the financial covenants relevant to the borrower. 
  • Monitor compliance with covenants and ensure accurate reporting. 
  • Develop spreadsheets to support intricate monitoring tasks. 
  • Perform thorough quality checks on client deliverables. 
  • Manage the process with an emphasis on capacity, efficiency, and accuracy. 
  • The candidate should demonstrate superior email etiquette when addressing lender inquiries and be capable of composing email responses independently. 
  • Knowledge of debt domain applications adds value. 
  • A solid understanding of banking operations related to commercial lending, particularly corporate loans, is essential for the candidate.
  • The candidate must be committed to delivering 100% quality, meeting tight deadlines, and thriving under pressure. 

Support Functions:


  • Effective collaboration ensures that all teams are aligned and that any potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies in deliverables handling are identified and addressed.
  • Working with Management to assist in the production of the Monthly MIS Report.
  • Managing ad-hoc transaction activity – assisting transaction management team to administer ad-hoc and unscheduled transaction activity as directed and in accordance with procedures.
  • Working closely with different teams in resolving any lender/borrower queries regarding financials and other related queries.
  • Attending Lender/borrower calls from time to time regarding document tracking and updates.

  • Effectively manage risk & business goals
  • Manage process controls effectively.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce / finance or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Covenant monitoring and debt domain
  • Strong attention to detail with a risk aware mindset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work overtime is needed to support the team and ensure critical work is performed.
  • Flexible working in shifts
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
