This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Global Connected Lighting Product Manager in Bangalore with Signify.
Our Interact branded wireless connected lighting system is used globally, across multiple segments and sold via multiple channels.
The PM team drives the system and product roadmap, the requirements development, the system and product releases, the market communication and the technical documentation.
Within the team, you will take ownership of your own defined portfolio, focusing on key innovations and the benefits of these innovations for our customers. Your portfolio will include solutions for building integrations, lighting system configuration and remote management, emergency lighting configuration and management and for advanced sensing needed for lighting control and beyond.
Your key responsibilities are:
For your portfolio, manage the innovation funnel, the pricing and the health of the portfolio; Launch new products, drive market activation and provide support to market teams (sales, product marketing, system centers), integrators and trade channel partners.
Develop and sustain the offer, drive the roadmaps, develop specifications, initiate new developments and evolve the documentation for the system components, building blocks and the enabling applications.
Drive the engagement with partners and develop an eco-system for critical system partners.
Work closely together with regional luminaire team on the connected offer and positioning

Do you have experience in the space of lighting and building automation, control and integrations? Are you an innovator that is keen to drive developments for connected systems to maximize customer value over the connected lighting system’s lifetime?

You are open minded, curious and innovative.
You have 4+ years of product management experience with proven track record of creating, testing and delivering products, solutions and services on schedule & budget meeting customer and market requirements.
You have experience with new product development, encompassing hardware development, embedded firmware development, back-end & cloud software development and IoT data platforms and applications.
You have experience in lighting controls and/or building automation systems and you have a good understanding of the building automation market.
You have strong communication skills and the ability to advise and influence stakeholders across all levels.
You have a solid understanding of Engineering, release and delivery pipelines and of lifecycle management and you are able to steer the trade-off between specification and time-to-market.
You have a strong understanding of product marketing, and a technical background in Electrical/Software Engineering
