Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
- Engineering study and service design of Generator and Exciter components.
- Good Knowhow for Design of Synchronous AC generators 2-pole (brushless & Static excitation) for power generation systems.
- Understanding of Magnetic, Electrical & Thermal circuits of Rotor & Stator parts
- Service Engineering of large generator components and its auxiliaries.
- Support to Localization of generator parts, vendor development and qualification for manufacturing of parts and raw materials.
- Process development and supplier support on total manufacturing life cycle of components that including metallurgy, heat treatment, welding and NDE processes.
- Provide support to site team for resolving urgent forced outage recovery programs & critical technical issue by detailed study and Root cause analysis.
- Implementation of all product definition documents including graphics, bill of materials, and product manufacture process requirements.
- Conversant with Indian and International codes & standards viz IS, IEC, IEEE, Knowledge of Industry Norms and Standards.
- Provide support to sales and proposal team for providing market / customer specific technical solution.
- Good understanding of Generator product requirements and functionality of major components.
- Good understanding of Generator and it’s component inspection and testing wrt technical requirements.  
-  Creating and evaluating technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Maintain a healthy working environment while working with Cross Functional Team
- Hands on experience in SAP, Team center and AutoCAD for the above categories of drawings reviews.

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related technical field
- 8 to 15 years of engineering or manufacturing experience, preferably in Generator domain.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or direction.
- Ability to interface directly with customer, field, suppliers and management.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions on a regular basis
- Ability to manage multiple manufacturing issues / projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with repair methods for major components a plus.
- Possess good communication, interpersonal skills and willing to work in inter disciplinary teams.
