Position: Technical Solutions Consultant – Complete Care Storage

 Role Description


The Complete Care Storage engineer will be responsible for providing complete resolution for problems on Datacenter Care and mission critical storage environments. The candidate will provide expert level assistance directly to stakeholders.


Provide Remote support for the following HPE Storage products via phone, email and remotely.


  • 3PAR StoreServ Storage Arrays (Product Line exposure)
  • Storage Arrays and Tape Libraries (Product Line exposure)
  • EVA, MSA/NAS Storage arrays
  • StoreOnce, VLS, ESL/ MSL Tape Libraries, Backup Software SAN switches

Job Description / Responsibilities


  • Provide Remote Storage H/W and Storage S/W support for Premier OS customers - diagnose/solve via phone, email and collaboration.
  • Possess good storage fundamentals & exposure to Storage concepts like RAID and SAN
  • Understanding criticality of issues and business impact by demonstrating customer centric mind-set & work to identify the cause of the issue in the shortest/quickest path.
  • Understand customer business impact and provide leadership in incident/issue management
  • Provide immediate technical response and expertise in restoration of customer High-availability environments.
  • Applying systematic problem-solving techniques, high quality call documentation and superior can-do attitude.
  • Develop and document clear action plans to resolve issues even where information may be limited.
  • Be fully aware of the business impact of ongoing issues and thus keep customers/account team updated of all action plans and developments during the resolution process.
  • Delivering timely solutions to customer issues and meet the defined SLAs for response and resolution time and ensure other Performance metrics are met /exceeded.
  • Collaboration with other cross functional groups to ensure timely resolution of issues

What you need to bring :


Essentials and Desired Competencies


  • B.E/B.Tech or Master's Degree in Technical Discipline
  • Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills
  • Must be a self-starter and team player with the ability to work with different engineers or teams
  • Experience: Minimum 12 months in handling storage products.
  • Shift: Willingness to work across all shifts
  • Exceptional technical expertise & proven track record in resolution process and collaboration
  • Exceptional customer handling skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work with multiple PGUs and Business units
  • Good communication and customer management skills
  • Industry wide certifications like Linux, Red hat, Brocade/Cisco, HPE Certifications on Storage or Backup Software Technologies will be an added advantage
  • Good attitude and Good Team player
