Responsibilities and Impact: The Community Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operational infrastructure of our Community platform. This position is dedicated to ensuring seamless execution of processes, integration of technology, and data-driven decision-making. The focus is on optimizing community workflows, enhancing scalability, and aligning community initiatives with our broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Efficiency: Develop and refine workflows to optimize community engagement, event management, and content delivery within the Community platform. Identify and implement automation tools to streamline community processes, improving overall efficiency.
Technology Management: Manage and maintain the community platform, ensuring its functionality and scalability to meet community needs. Collaborate with IT and vendor teams to promptly address platform issues or implement necessary upgrades.
Data Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze community KPIs such as member growth, engagement rates, retention, and ROI, utilizing analytics tools. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership to inform data-driven strategy adjustments.
Resource and Budget Management: Oversee the budget for community operations, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact. Evaluate and negotiate with vendors to optimize costs associated with community tools and services.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure that community initiatives align with organizational goals. Support program execution by ensuring operational readiness and effective resource allocation.
Enhance Customer Journey: Identify opportunities to improve and optimize the customer journey, providing actionable insights to enhance each stage. Create and maintain playbooks that ensure a seamless and impactful experience for community members, driving engagement and satisfaction.
What We are Looking For:-
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communication or relatable field.
5+ years of experience in overseeing the operational infrastructure of Community platform or similar.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in community platforms, particularly Higher Logic, along with experience in CRM and analytics tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for community improvement.
Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with experience using project management tools.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate operational strategies.
Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions.
Preferred Skills:
5+ years in operations, project management, or a related field.
Experience managing B2B or customer-facing communities.
Performance Metrics:
Improvement in operational efficiency, such as reduced task turnaround times.
Growth and engagement of the community aligned with business objectives.
On-time and on-budget delivery of operational initiatives.
High platform uptime and functionality metrics.
